Thank you for visiting my online mehndi gallery / digital henna portfolio!

These images represent a tiny subset of my work from over the years, as I don’t want to completely overwhelm you or break the internet. If you’re looking for examples of my work in a certain style, you can always google “henna by heather style description here”, and if it’s got the same watermark on it as you see here, you can be confident it’s mine! Other older photos may have different watermarks – if it’s got “henna by heather” on it and the vibe feels right, chances are it’s quite probably mine.

You can always ask me to hunt through my archives for more examples of a given style. Especially if you’re a bride looking for a more custom-tailored bridal henna proposal, or looking to book some other big and exciting project with me, I’d be happy to come up with a custom mini mehndi gallery for you to help get the creative juices flowing.

You can also find updated henna portfolio stuff on my Instagram page, Pinterest boards, etc.

Why is there still more text before the actual henna portfolio?

If you agree that this is way too much text to come before the images on a henna portfolio gallery page, I hear you! But the almighty search algorithms have dictated that I need to keep adding more words to this page, if they want you to actually ever see it. So I’ll just take this moment to commiserate with you about how dumb that is, and how I don’t like it either. But if I as a henna artist am to join the ranks of all those recipe-sharing cooks whose recipes show up first when you search, I must include as much verbiage before I actually present the goods you seek – just like them!

Google thinks that making you scroll through this nonsense in order to get to the actual henna portfolio shows that you’re “engaged”. I think that it shows that you and I are both only semi-willingly play along as co-conspirators in their little game right now. And there we have it – we’ve reached the number of words the almighty Al Gore’s rhythm requires of us, and you can finally see the portfolio now.
