Can you believe the color that Robin got from her henna???
She was diligent. She steamed it, and then wrapped it up and kept it on overnight. She wrapped it in heavy surgical wrap cotton strips, and then put an ace bandage on over it. She knows about these sorts of wonderful materials from being an OR nurse.
The extra knowledge and effort absolutely paid off. Dude, check out that color.
Robin is a henna artist too, and comes to my workshops quite often!
This design took about 2 hours, 1 hour for each hand.
It is vaguely and tangentially inspired by Alia Khan’s ebook Petals and Lace. When I do this sort of thing, she has called it “Alia-Heather Fusion” in the past 🙂
