The changing of the seasons is a great time to remind ourselves of our place in the universe. With the autumnal equinox just ten days away, it was time for some celestial henna.
This design is a combination and expansion of the two different celestial sun and moon designs in one of my most popular ebooks of festival designs, Trendy Mehndi III. It combines the moon-and-star-centered sun of one with the jewelry-style bracelet and rings of the other… add a bunch of shading, spend waaaay more time than would be reasonable to do in a festival while contentedly watching Star Wars: The Next Generation….and voila 🙂
