Project Description

This henna was done for a Diwali card! I had seen so many Diwali e-card and greeting images going around Facebook and Instagram last year, but none of them featured henna! I found this a little odd, since Diwali and especially Karva Chauth (or Karwa Chauth) is the #1 time of year I get inquiries about henna for parties and private appointments.

I did this henna on myself, because I am the most reliable hand model I know, who will both be sure to take good henna aftercare measures and show up again for photos once the color has darkened 🙂

So yes, that means I did my right hand henna using my left hand… and I am not left handed!

I liked this image the best for Diwali, since it has all the diyas…but decided that it doesn’t show the henna quite enough.
