Gorgeous mermaid henna photo collab with the stunning and multitalented @mermaidjessiejewels ! She wanted a jellyfish, and then we added a seahorse, and other aquatic friends to keep it company, and some kelp and seaweed to help them all feel at home.
I love to travel and meet up with talented folks for henna photoshoots! Whether you’re also looking for your own mermaid henna dreams come true, or you’ve got another vision, please contact me! We can find a way to make it work – whether you’ll be in my area (between Boston MA and Providence RI) or you’d like me to come visit you. This is especially feasible during the henna off season, which is November through March (with shoulder season months of October and April).
This photoshoot really has been a long time coming. On instagram, we posted a cute video together in March of 2024. That same month, I sprained my wrist. Or rather, I thought I sprained my wrist. Urgent care and the orthopedic doctor both said I sprained my wrist. Turns out it was fractured, though. So I’ve been down for the count in varying degrees since last March. I was often being advised to do as little henna/art as possible, or to at least not push it too hard. I sure did get in a lot of left-handed henna practice during this time.
