Here is where I will keep an archive of older henna patterns I’ve offered up in various incarnations since 1999.
I can certainly see progress since those early days! But I think it is good for people to realize that all efforts start somewhere, and some of these patterns are still popular, so I am choosing to maintain this archive.

Arabic calligraphy
including: love, peace, hope, freedom, happiness, star, father, baraka, artist, singer, actor, universe, heaven, music, Eid, henna, forever, luck, wisdom, beautiful, princess, wish, strong, mother
Various people who speak various dialects of Arabic have said some of these are not correct according to their pronunciation/spelling, and then when I try changing them and sharing the edited versions, I get even *more* people telling me they are not correct… so I hold that these seem to be fairly correct, at least to many speakers of Modern Standard Arabic. As a former linguist, I am super sensitive to this issue of different spellings, dialects, varieties, etc. I do not 100% proclaim that these are the only correct spellings, but that they were looked up in a dictionary by me (someone with only one semester plus a few hours here and there of Arabic study) and have been approved by multiple native speakers/writers of Arabic.
